TIt is about 35 kilometres from East London on the 102 off N2 to King Williamstown from East London. You will arrive in 30 minutes if you are doing an average speed of 70km per hour. If you travel at 100km per hour, you should reach Berlin in 21 minutes While driving at 120km per hour from East London to Berlin, you will get there in 18 minutes
The events is generally a free access event, giving the public free access to horse race viewing, Main stage performances, craft & business village, Open stage fashion shows etc. However, due to COVID-19 restictions, the access has been limited to ticket sales until further notice. In the Marquee village a general admission ticket is required. Different marquees charge differently for access. Please go to hospitality on our website to get more information.
Tickets are available at all Computicket outlets throughout the country such as Shoprite. for your convenience, you may purchase a ticket by going to the BUY TCKET tab on this site and you will be able to buy your ticket directly on Computicket. Tickets are R2000 for Prime Lounge access. Refer to hospitality packages for other Private Marquee prices.
Please ensure you bring your ticket and collect your wristband at the security entrance. For both Prime and VIP tickets please make sure you collect your spending money alongside your wristband. The general public not in the Marquees may also bring along fold out chairs or picnic rugs for use in the general viewing area only.
You can arrive at Berlin Race Course via car, bus, or helicopter.
There is on site car parking for 400 cars at the venue.
All event caterers must be accredited by the event organisers and the Buffalo City Health & Safety Department.

Berlin November is a licensed event with food, alcohol, soft drinks and water. These are also available for purchase. You can bring your own snacks and water in sealed plastic bottles. Any contraband will be confiscated and donated to charity. Water taps will be provided free of charge.

Judges look at the following: Is the design in line with the spirit of the Berlin November and raceday? Is the design interesting, clever, fashion forward and theme driven? Style, detail, Fit, finish and work quality Visual impact Interpretation of the theme and brief Fabric selection, trim etc
Judges are selected based on their knowledge of fashion and the event. They are very often designers, fashion journalists, fashion lecturers, fashion producers or celebrities who are considered stylish and fashionable.
